The Christmas Winds
Every year around December the winds switch offshore and stay that way for the next six months.
The locals call these the ‘Christmas Winds’
Picture it. Perfectly groomed waves with 80 degree water from sunrise to sunset!

San Antonio Estates, just outside of Tamarindo, is overlooking Avellanas, and located on the brand new short cut road to Negra.
Avellanas, also known as ‘little hawaii’ has eight breaks ranging from beginner to expert.
